L’accord de gouvernement pour la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles qui a été présenté ce jeudi par Maxime Prévot et Georges-Louis Bouchez annonce de nouvelles mesures en matière d’enseignement, et en particulier sur le statut professionnel des enseignants et enseignantes. La nomination à vie serait supprimée et, pour essayer de remédier à la pénurie dans la profession, et afin de susciter des vocations, à la place on offrirait des contrats à durée indéterminée aux nouveaux venus, on réactiverait aussi un deuxième pilier des pensions. Il faut toutefois noter qu’il n’y aura pas d’effet rétroactif à la suppression de ce statut.
Dans la déclaration, il y a une ambition assumée de revaloriser le métier, de revoir le décret sur les titres et fonctions, d’aménager les fins de carrière, de faire entrer vers l’école des personnes qui ne sont pas issues du monde de l’enseignement. La mise ne cause du statut risque de provoquer des crispations syndicales.
« Les revendications des enseignants n’ont pas été entendues : nous voulions une amélioration des conditions de travail avant que l’on ne vienne détricoter un statut qui protège les personnels de l’enseignement » réagit Roland Lahaye, secrétaire général de la CSC Enseignement.
